Viña Pomal is characterized by a rather traditional winemaking: after destemming and crushing, a moderately long maceration takes place and, after the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations, the wines are traned and lightly clarified to pass them to barrels. The wine spends 18 months in American oak barrels, 20% new.
