This is one of Portugal’s most recognizable, more international wines. It’s mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from vines planted in clay and chalk-based soils. This is a charming bottle for the lover of Bordeaux. It’s aged in French oak for a year before bottling. Ripe red and black fruits, spices and woody notes are the aromas of this red with a fruity, fresh palate, with good body and present tannins. This label marked the history of Portuguese oenology, for being totally vinified in oak barrels and for being the first to bring only French varieties in its composition, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
